Combat Cache?
Submitted by apt101 on Mon, 07/20/2009 - 07:54
I was checking out some new posts in the Geocaching.com Facebook group this morning, and ran across what someone called a Combat Cache? I thought that sounded interesting enough to check out. It turns out this is a name to describe caches in a Military War Zone. It's not an official thing. Just something our military people are calling it.

Unusual Container
Submitted by apt101 on Tue, 04/28/2009 - 12:48Excerpt:
"November 27, 2002 around 7 PM on a clear crisp autumn evening a bright light was visible in the sky near the northern horizon from the vicinity of Fairfield Village in Cypress, Texas. Starting low in the sky the light gradually grew in size and brilliance and appeared to draw closer."
ROAD TRIP !!!
Submitted by apt101 on Fri, 04/17/2009 - 12:11Maybe not by car but sometime we need to get a group together and hit this cache, but this one is only for real men (and women). Check out the cache and you will understand what I mean.
A Cache and a 2 TBs I will never get.
Submitted by apt101 on Tue, 04/14/2009 - 17:38I say never, but who knows. This man whose ID is Lord British has one cache he has placed and two travel bugs he has dropped off and I think you have to be a special person or have a certain profession to get to them.
The cache is called Randbow Hydrothermal Vents. Evidentally as he was jaunting around in a Mir Russian Submersble he dropped this cache and one travel bug (TB31F1) off on the sea floor 2300 meters down and 3171 miles from my home coordinates.
